Clinic Appointments

Appointments are usually scheduled for the following week of the initial inquiry of the phone call. During transitional times of the year (end of the semester or during the summer) it may take longer because of reduced counselor availability. If an appointment can not be scheduled to meet your need the clinic personnel will assist you in making a referral.

When calling to schedule an appointment the clinic staff will gather general information to assess the needs of the client, get contact information, and then place the potential client with a counselor that would best suit their needs. The clinic staff strives to answer any questions the caller may have.

Hours

Appointments are available from 9:00 am-8:00 pm Monday through Thursday.

The Clinic is closed for holidays and over Christmas break between the fall and spring semesters.

Inclement Weather Policy

If inclement weather conditions occur and the school district in which your clinic is located cancels the school day to weather, your appointment is automatically canceled. You are responsible to reschedule the appointment at a later time. Please use your own judgment regarding safety during all adverse weather conditions.

Cancellations

We understand that it may, at many times be necessary to cancel an appointment. To help us be most efficient and responsible in the use of our time, we require that any changes be made at least 24 hours in advance any workday, Monday through Friday. If there is a need to cancel a Monday appointment, that cancellation would need to be made by the Friday before the appointment. If you have scheduled two fifty minute sessions on the same day and need to cancel, we will need 48 hours advance notice. Any changes or cancellations that received less than 24 hours advance in advance may be charged the regular per-session rate. Any missed appointments with no call received will be charged the regular per-session rate. Most insurance companies do not cover missed appointment charges.
